Last week City Boy and I went to the city and took in some beautiful colors–it was hard to get enough of it! This time of the year in Missouri it is absolutely ablaze!
Before we left I just had to slip in a shot of this tree in our back yard:
Then off to the city! Springfield is a very colorful city every fall, with a variety of trees that change all different vivid colors.
The National Cemetery was alive with color as well.
Another cemetery, this one where my grandparents rest.
A stroll in the woods with a railroad track running through:
And then back home to our little town’s cemetery:
It seems like there is a recurring theme here with cemeteries, but many of them can be counted on for having foliage alive with vivid color–great planning!
I encourage you to get out and enjoy this splendid colorful season while it’s here–it doesn’t stay that way long, and if you are able to see it, you’ll be glad you did!
